We have ideas on great zones in the North Monashees, Northern Selkirk Mountains, and the Freshfield Icefield, perfect for backcountry adventures and ideal for setting up base camps during your ski trips.
Please inquire about our backcountry adventures; we can chat about locations and logistics to make a bit of a plan. Once we receive the deposit, we can go from there! All ski trips are best planned for late March to early May, depending on location. Typically, our trips can accommodate 4-6 guests at our base camps.
These week-long backcountry adventures will generally start and end with a heli bump, although some guests have the option to ski out to a vehicle. We provide a communal cook tent, cooking supplies, and fuel at our base camps. Guests are responsible for bringing their own four-season tent, sleep systems, and ski touring equipment for the ski trips. A custom-tailored gear list for the base camp will be sent out upon booking. Various food programs are available to help us tailor trip costs to suit everyone’s needs. Depending on the chosen location, we have the option to provide a hot tent, offering a warm area to eat and dry gear in the mornings! Trip costs vary based on group size, location, and selected food programs, but generally start at around $3,800 per person.
